So I decided to put it to the test...

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits.

The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up & running in less than 5 minutes. Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Juggernaut" links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Juggernaut Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login. Very smart!

After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Juggernaut link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Juggernaut link is clicked, the page loads followed by a small ad window in the lower right corner. It displays 3 ads PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Juggernaut. So if anyone clicks the Juggernaut image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Juggernaut links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members' links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed.

And this works virally--meaning as you make referrals into Juggernaut (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Juggernaut image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Juggernaut also.

I didn't get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated--my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Juggernaut even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays. That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature.

There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all--downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Juggernaut really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it's valuable as a user, but no so often that it's a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that they use a unique dual-matrix technology that builds your downline in 2 ways. First is the typical way--you refer members, who then refer members, etc. But the 2nd matrix is a "forced matrix" that places all new members in a downline in sequential order. Without getting technical, what it means is that if you join and just stay a member (even if you don't do anything) your downline will grow automatically because new members will fill in your forced matrix. And you earn credits on them too. Now THAT's cool.

Overall I have to say I am impressed with Web Traffic Juggernaut. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising.

See it & join here:
The Juggernaut....

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw

Promote ClickBank Products Using Twitter

Twitter Success Guide

What is Twitter, and How Can It Help Your ClickBank Business?

Social media has quickly become the easiest and fastest method of generating targeted exposure for your ClickBank promotions. Participating in the most effective social networks, and using them correctly, will lead to an increase in conversions and boost your ClickBank sales.

With new social networking sites popping up every day, it can be difficult to determine which ones are worth your investment of time and effort. That’s why today, I’m going to make your life a bit easier. After spending thousands of hours in hundreds of different social networking communities and tracking where my traffic and sales are coming from, I can tell you without a doubt that Twitter has produced the best results for my business.

What Is Twitter, You Ask?

It’s hard to say, really. Twitter means different things to different people. To some people, it’s simply another form of a chat room, public instant messaging, or a virtual water cooler. To others, it’s a place to network with like-minded individuals, connect with customers, and attract joint venture partners.

The technical term that is often used to describe Twitter is ‘micro blogging.’ Each ‘tweet’ is a 140-character blog post. It’s quick and to the point. That’s part of the appeal to many Twitter users, which makes it important for you to understand that you need to provide value within each tweet that you make.

Why Should You Use Twitter?

Connect with Customers and Joint Venture Partners
Twitter allows me to build trust and enhance the relationship that I have with my customers. It’s one more way that I can erase any skepticism they may have in regards to my credibility and the value of my products.

Twitter has also become the easiest and fastest way for me to connect with industry leaders. There have been times where dozens of emails and phone calls failed to reach my prospective JV partner, but one simple tweet did the trick.

Increase Traffic to your Blog and Web Sites
When you are posting valuable content in your tweets and becoming a resource to your followers on Twitter, you can guarantee that they will be clicking on links in your profile and eagerly looking to learn more from you.

When you create a blog post, it is acceptable to announce it on Twitter. Having a catchy title and intriguing first few words of the post will increase click-throughs to your blog post. I recommend that you automate your blog posts to appear as tweets by using Twitterfeed.

Another example of leveraging Twitter is inviting your followers on Twitter to listen in on Webcasts where you are interviewing an expert in your niche.

Get More Incoming Links to your Site

Each tweet is its own unique page on the Web. When you include links to your blog posts, product review pages, or Web sites, you are receiving inbound links to each of those sites. Incoming links mean more traffic, both from direct visits and improved rankings in search engines.

Hopefully this post has given you a good introduction to Twitter and how it can help you grow your ClickBank business. In Part Two, I’ll show you the basics of getting started with Twitter, as well as the steps you need to take early on to be as successful as possible. Stay tuned!

Share This:
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/

Thanks to Scott Tousignant

Why Advertise At All?

"Advertising Doesn't Pay?"

Jake never had an education. But he sure knew how to make a great Hot Dog.

His canvas-roofed stand had stood at the side of the highway for three years, and most of his customers came by every day to buy his wonderful food. He didn't make a great living. Just enough to live on and send his son to college.

One day, a customer suggested he put a sign at the side of the road to attract more business from passing traffic. Made from bits of re-claimed wood, Jake proudly put his new hand painted sign out the very next day....

----- 'Jake's Famous Hot Dogs -The Tastiest Dog In Town'------

And business picked up immediately.

Then he tidied up his stand and replaced the canvas roof with something more permanent. Business got even better. So he placed another sign on the other side of the road, and business really took off.

He ordered extra buns and hot dogs to keep up with the orders, and hired an assistant. Business continued to grow when he printed up some hand bills and handed them out to the local factory workers.

Well, pretty soon Jake was finding it really difficult to cope with all the extra business. What with 4 stands, a staff of 10 and accountants to pay for, he decided to bring his son back from college to help him out.

"Junior is a clever boy" Jake said to a customer "And his business degree will be a great help to the business".

So Junior joined the business. He spent 12 months examining the business from every angle and made lots of changes.

"Pa, have you seen this printer's bill? We don't need all these hand bills. Business is booming".

"And why do we spend so much on personalized napkins? Our customers already know where we are"

"Well, Junior must know what he's doing", thought Jake. "After all he's been to college".

With Junior's expertise in business studies he soon cut down the staff from 10 to 6. Business began to slow down a bit, but Junior explained to his Pa that the reduced costs would more than make up for the reduction in trade. "It's known in business circles as streamlining" he said.

"Well, he must know what he's doing" thought Jake "he's an educated boy".

When business began to slow even further Junior said "Pa, those roadside signs aren't very attractive are they? Why don't we replace them with something a bit more classy with a logo on it and a price list? And we should give a wider choice. Our customers must be fed up with Hot Dogs. Let's go up-market."

"Gee" thought Jake "I'm so proud of that boy. He's so clever"

But one day, business was so slow that Jake finally questioned Junior's methods.

"But Pa, it's not MY fault. Don't you read the papers? I think there's a recession coming on. The NASDAQ and the Dow Jones are slowing down. We have to cut back".

"Well" thought Jake "I can't read, but he must know what he's talking about. He's been to college".

So Jake stopped advertising to save money. And reduced his bread supplies to cut back on wastage. But business dropped off even more. Then Junior advised closing down the other 3 stands to protect the 'Parent Company' from the impending economic down-turn.

Business got even worse.

And when the roadside signs collapsed he saved more money by not replacing them. Soon afterwards, business was so bad, Jake was forced to close his remaining stand.

He sent Junior back to college to study International Commerce. And as he waved him off at the station he said ....

"You know Junior, education is a wonderful thing. If it hadn't been for you I would never have seen that recession coming!

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/

Thanks to my Mentor: Joe Robson

Your Bank Account Development Through High Performance Marketing

First we will focus on the elements that help us build a viable marketing organization.

1) The First Basic Element Is Leverage

We visited that subject in the introduction. If what you are doing in your business does not create, produce or sustain leverage it might be suspect as a strategy or technique that might work in another business platform but not with networking. Networking is by its nature a service business not a sales business.

Leverage defined is; "Strategic advantage; power to act effectively" The verb, to Network is defined as: "Communicate with and within a group." Notice it is a continuing group activity.

Sales defined is; "An agreement in which property is transferred from the seller to the buyer for a fixed price in money." Notice it is a single one on one activity.

One of many areas of leverage might be:
To sell is a single activity between two individuals, repeated many times by one person with many individual people. "John sold to 10 customers." John is paid on his effort only. No leverage.

"Mary networked with 10 people who networked with 10 people who networked with 10 people. Mary's downline has 1000 people all using the product or service." Mary is paid for orders through her own efforts and paid an amount because of the efforts of others, a lot of leverage on her effort.

John would need to repeat his sales activity with 1000 individual people to have 1000 customers Mary did her activity once with 10 people and leverage.

2) Service Income Generation, The Second Basic Concept Of Networking.

"I make money in Network Marketing the same way my downline people make money, we work for it - MORE IMPORTANTLY - I make money BECAUSE my downline people make money" -

That's a marketing statement - It's powerful - It's absolutely true - It sums up network marketing in total and what's more, any networker can use it. Please read it again and think about it. . . .

The reason people don't make money in a network business is because they don't understand marketing and they don't understand networking. To make a lot of money in a network organization your downline people must make money. In the Network Marketing business my goal must be, that each person I personally enroll in any of my marketing groups will hopefully become better at this business than I am. If they are not, it is my job to do everything in my power to help them become the best of the best.

My biggest worry must be, how can I get my downline people earning more money. That's called "enlightened self interest". In Network Marketing if you worry about how much money your downline people are earning you'll never have to worry about how much money you earn. Your income is always automatic.

The service you are marketing through networking is the opportunity to earn money using a company's product or service as the vehicle. The better you deliver that income generating service the more money you earn.

3) Here Is Another Basic Concept.

The bulk of your income in networking comes not from those you enroll but from the people they enroll. That is the least understood rule or concept in networking today.

High performance network marketing is building a marketing organization. It's not sales-marketing and it's not in personally recruiting a lot of people, High performance network marketing is gathering around you a few people with a strong desire to earn money, people who want to take control of their time and take control of building their lifestyle. A small group of dedicated people with a collective understanding of networking specifically and the knowledge of marketing in general, can become a powerful team with unstoppable individual earning capacity for each of the group's members.

The income in a networking business is earned as a result of products or services purchased by customers OR by distributors in a marketing organization called a downline. Training and promotional tools are services and products just like nutritional products, air fresheners, cleaning products, insurance, cosmetics, or telecommunications services.

Commissions from purchases throughout the marketing downline are divided with those in the marketing organization upline from the purchaser. Because each purchaser can be a distributor if they wish, they can earn money from several levels of purchasers below them in their downline. That is just one point of leverage in networking. Leverage marketing is often referred to as viral marketing. If every marketer enrolls more than two people in a downline you have achieved a small viral effect.

Regardless of the type or style of marketing plan, stair step, unilevel, binary, forced matrix, Australian 2 up or whatever your company calls theirs, the following mechanics apply.

The more the design of the plan includes leverage, the better the program works to pay money out for income to those who work the program.

Every network-marketing plan is slightly different from another in the way the qualifications are set in place and commissions or bonuses are paid. The more simplistic the rules are, the easier they are to work with and to design your business plan from. If for instance, if you add into the marketing plan a rule that a distributor must enroll one person to earn money for each level of income in their downline then you have placed another leverage point in your marketing plan. By adding that rule you also develop management skills within your downline people. In a later chapter I will discuss the importance of management skills.

Some companies have requirements that a given amount of personal enrollments must be achieved before bonuses can be earned. Others have rules that certain dollar volumes must be maintained to qualify for increased percentages of commissions. Some have rules that say when you develop so many distributors with a certain monthly volume then you can get in the bonus system. There are many ways to design compensation or marketing plans and each company has one they favor based on their type of style or structure. If the plan is well designed, it's rules increase leverage for the people who participate, not breakage for company profit.

A good one to use to explain leverage might be a matrix because it is simple:
If you had a marketing plan that paid 10 levels deep and people needed to enroll 10 people, one to qualify for each level of income, everyone would have a goal to enroll at least 10 people, teach each of them to enroll at least 10 people and teach them to teach their 10 people to do the same. That is not duplication although a lot of networkers think of it that way. It is simply the mechanical process by which you build your marketing business team and ensure leverage takes place. Duplication is in the management and leadership process of how an organization functions and we will visit that subject in later chapters.

To put that 10 level downline on steroids your focus would be on the third and forth level enrollments. You would make sure each person is working with each of their people to enroll at least 10 people who are working with their people to enroll at least 10 people. Any time you see a person in the first four levels on your downline report that has less than 10 people personally enrolled, you would contact their sponsor and find out why. You might need to team up with that sponsor and the downline person with less than 10 to help them enroll the minimum 10 people. Remember, the bulk of your income comes not from those you enroll but from the people they enroll.

If you want to look at it a different way, if any person does not have 10 people enrolled they can't earn from all levels in their downline so they miss their maximum income potential. You need to insist they are completely qualified for every bit of income their business can pay them. If you worry about their income you never need to worry about your income. Remember, "enlightened self interest".

Let's look at another style of marketing plan, the Uni-level:
A similar system might be used. Call it the basic 5 foundation. A salesman might put everyone in as a front line enrollment. But the networker, to create leverage, would put 5 people on their front line and help them enroll a basic 5 front line enrollments. Teach them in the process to do the same with each new enrollee and leverage is created. When the organization reaches the 4th level the networker would start another basic 5 foundation. One leg at a time.

You would have 25 on the 2nd level and 125 on the 3rd level. And you're working with 5 downline people. 5 X 5 = 25 X 5 = 125 X 5 = 625 X 5 = 3,125 X 5 = 15,625. Your first wave of momentum will come on the third level. The next two momentum waves will come on the froth level. And your leadership will emerge within those 3 or 4 levels. Those leaders will, if they are taught your system, achieve their own leadership and momentum on their 3 or 4 levels, which might be your 5th 6th or 7th level. Now you have the start of a solid downline.

Can you see how similar the conceptual strategy is and how to orchestrate it? Any stile of network marketing plan can have a similar strategy designed for it if you keep leverage in mind.

Staffing your marketing group or downline means finding people that fit your program and your group. It does not mean trying to enroll "somebody, anybody and everybody." You can purchase lists, buy costly advertising, mail postcards, pester friends, send unwanted e-mail in your efforts to enroll hundreds or thousands of people in your downline and hope that those who join will succeed. You can let the network company provide support and training (most of which will be incorrect). The ones that you enroll who show some effort you can "pat on the back" with a "well done". You can encourage those who aren't yet showing the effort to do the things they should AND if that is your business plan, you will end up with a very impotent downline. That's what the majority of networkers today are doing and they're not earning the money they want. That is a sales-marketing and sales management mentality. Sales-marketing strategies work in a sales business but they never have worked in networking and they won't work today. Adopting that sales-marketing working model will remove the leverage from your business building activities.

On the other hand, you can enroll a small group of people who each have a very strong desire to earn a superior income, people who want to take control of their time and their lives. Make sure they are dedicated to their strong desire, then teach them the basic concepts of networking, help them develop their skills, help them apply those skills within the basic networking concepts then you can have the kind of business results and income most networkers only dream of having. You'll also end up with a residual income for the rest of your life if you do it correctly.

By enrolling a small group, you can work with each of them to reach the income level they told you they wanted before you enrolled them. You did ask that question before you enrolled them, didn't you? If not, how do you know how strong their desire is to earn a superior income? More about that subject in the next chapters.

Somebody somewhere right now is reading this manuscript and saying to themselves "Hmm, it sounds like there is work involved here". YES there is. After all it is the 2nd part of the word net-working. If you want more than "pin money" from any business including networking, you'll need to work for it. Let me point this out. If you want an excellent 2nd income or if you want to replace your full family income with a career and income most people only dream of, you'll do a little work to reach the level of business proficiency that achieves that result. Anyone that tells you differently is lying to you.

What I am showing you is the easy way to do it using leverage. Using our example from before. you can go out and sell your program to 1000 people yourself, or you can enroll 10 people and don't rest until you've helped them enroll 10 people, manage that 10 people so they are accountable for managing their 10 people. Now you have a downline of 1000 people and you are working with only 10 people. I don't know about you, but I'd be hard pressed to make 1000 phone calls every week but I can call 10 people once each week to help them build their business. That is leveraging your time.

Here is the powerful part of this communication system. You are working with only 10 people at a time and each of the people in your downline is also working with only 10 people at a time. Communicating with 10 people each week is a manageable task. Two phone calls per day for 5 days is something anyone can do, You will be amazed when you apply this business building principal at the small amount of daily time it will take you to reach phenomenal income results fast.

Does this mean you should stop enrolling when you reach 10 enrollments? No of course not. In some cases your company may require the enrollment of more than 10 personal enrollments perhaps a lot more than 10. What I'm suggesting is enrolling 5, 8 or 10 people and managing that group until they are able to create momentum using your system and then go after another small group until you have enough personal enrollments to build the size organization you want. As each person you're working with reaches his or her minimum 10 people you can add a fresh person to your daily schedule.

Spending all your time enrolling personal enrollments leaves no time to work with those new people coming into your business. Effective growth is always achieved in a networking organization when you work with your new people and their contacts. This is critical and it is during this time you make sure your personally enrolled people have access to the basic concepts of this business.

By providing your downline people with a way to learn the basic skills of networking and giving them the correct information about their business and the industry you are giving them the best chance to reach their potential. You need to know the basic elements yourself and you need to pass that knowledge along to those in your downline so they can put their part of your business on steroids. Remember in networking their business IS your business.

If in fact, the bulk of your income in networking comes not from those you enroll but from the people they enroll, then the business relationship you have with those you enroll is a management relationship, one of helping them in every way to enroll people who enroll other people. In the process a lot of product is ordered and the marketing group as well as the company succeeds along with you.

Regardless of the company you are with or the product you market, if the people you enroll in your marketing group aren't becoming better at marketing than you are, then you had better teach them marketing and networking or get someone close to you to do it for you. Hopefully, it would be someone in the same network group with you, so they have a vested financial interest in the task. One of the several reasons we formed the Masters Program is to give people in the networking industry, regardless of what company they are with, a place where they could get that kind of help from experts and support people who have a vested interest in their success.

Success=Action

Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/
Credits to my mentor:
Len Johnson

Marketing Made Easy!

Hello,

My name is Ron Outlaw. Let's face it, finishing is tough!
Or, is it?

Bottom line: You have to finish what you start!

There's no sense in going through the motions of building your business if you aren't going to learn to control

one of the most important aspects of your opportunity. It's all about PRODUCTION. Where does it begin?

It begins with the end, with the finish: the CLOSE. Your production really begins when you enroll someone

into your business. You see, we define production as a tangible result, something that can be measured.

I'm not at all suggesting that the activities that keep us busy leading to the close aren't productive.

They are. In fact, they are what produced the opportunity for us to close.

Here we are, faced with a prospect going through our information. Now, it's time to complete our mission.

To collect a decision, get an answer, onward and upward or move on to the NEXT person.

But, how do you get good at the close? How do you recognize the right time? How do you come up with the

right words? How do you get more rather than less? How?

This is a challenging arena for many. But there's good news. Really! YOU can learn to do this, and learn it well.

Imagine controlling, truly controlling the prospecting process and feeling comfortable about every move you make,

to feel you finally have total control over it. Mastery! Trust me, you can have it. It CAN be developed.

Here are some Quick Tips for helping you begin to master the close:

Listen for it. In fact, listen period. Pay attention. Use your ears and connect them to your mind. Internalize

and really hear what is happening. You will pick up on clues that most people miss out on. Make sure you are present.

So many people aren't even there when they think they are. Seriously. Clue in. BE THERE. This is your chance to get it done. Don't blow it. Be there with your prospect. Mentally connect with what is happening. Thinking about something or doing something else rather than being completely in that moment, that opportunity to create the business is just bad business that leads to no business. I know we're all busy with way too many things going on in our lives, too much responsibility, too much clutter, stuff, interruptions…but this is just too important to he half way.

Feel for signs. Use your intuition. Feel around. Not physically. Get a feel for where the prospect is about your opportunity. And…listen to your feelings. What you are feeling is probably right. Don't keep working on bringing someone into your business when you are already 'feeling' like they're not it. You're just wasting your time.

Ask Questions. Guess what? Some of the best closers in the world aren't really that great. They just know to ask!

Remember, ask and ye shall receive. Ask questions that lead to the close as well as what create the close.

How are you feeling about what you've heard so far? Pretty cool concept, isn't it? Can you see yourself making

that kind of money? When would you like to start making more money? Are you ready to get started? How soon are you

ready to start making money? You're getting the picture. Ask. By the way, once you ask…stop talking! That is one of

the oldest rules in the book. Some of you know it, some may have never heard it. Teach your people this stuff too.

Ask...then shhhhhh! Quiet. The first one who talks loses.

Stop working so hard! You'll close so much more business if you just stop working so hard on it! Don't push.

Closing isn't pushing. Yes, a little pressure, positive pressure, but not pushing. Don't act desperate. Even if you

think you're hiding your utter desperation to sponsor a new rep, they can feel it. They know. So, why bother pushing

out of fear and desperation. It just doesn't work.

Relax. It's just a conversation between two living, breathing homo-sapiens. This isn't an alien talk show.

Blood, flesh…that's it. You're not talking on stage in front of 7000 people doing a speech on something you know

nothing about. All you're doing is talking…interacting. The close will happen more easily when you chill out and stop

stressing out about what may or may not happen in your prospecting efforts. Really…what's there to worry about? If you

deeply think about it, you're really not risking anything so significant that you should be spending time worrying about it.

Just breathe easy and enjoy the experience.

These are just a few tips to help you understand why closers close and why others don't. Relax. Let it happen!

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/
P.S. If you can provide that solution, it’s money in your pocket!

Think about what problems people are having. Find the biggest, most common problem and determine a way to solve that problem.

HINT: Forums and discussion boards are always a good place to “spy” on your potential market and see what they are talking about.

So what is the best niche to enter?

The truth is, there is no “one” best niche.

The internet has such a massive reach that there are thousands of “best” niches to tap into, and so long as you make sure to satisfy the three criteria above BEFORE
you spend any time and money creating products, then you have a much better chance of success.

The internet is an incredibly powerful tool, and (though it may not seem like it) there are still very, very few people who know how to use it effectively to make money - particularly outside of the IM niche.

I firmly believe that it’s possible for every single person who ever reads this post to be able to go out and carve their own part of a profitable market.

What about you?

What markets do you want to get into, or what markets do you think would be profitable?

I’m not looking for you to tell me the exact products you would create or anything like that - this is not to “steal” ideas.

I just want to get people thinking about different markets, outside of the “sell internet marketing stuff to internet marketers” niche.

Leave a comment below and tell me what market you think would be a good market to get into or what market you would like to get into.

To YOUR Success,
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/
Credits go to my mentor: Richard Legg

Improving your Follow up

Quality People Quickly To Your Organization
~ Improving your Follow up
Don't let your emotions get in the way of production

How many times have you heard this one?

"I can't get my prospect to pick up the phone when I call them back!"

It happens to everyone. People don't show up, don't answer or don't reply after expressing interest on an initial call. They disappear and become part of the Prospect Protection Program.

This happens to the best-of-the-best in the business. It is part of the game. Some people simply don't have the intestinal fortitude or the professionalism to simply pick up the phone when you call and say they aren't interested in your opportunity.

There's good news! There is a way to dramatically reduce the number of people who "no show" on follow ups AND make you feel better when they don't show up.

We are all emotional beings. That's what humans are. We have highs and lows and good days and bad days. It's just part of life. One thing you DON'T want to do is let your emotions get in the way of your production if someone who you thought was going to join decides not to engage.

Six Strategies to Improve your Follow-up

1. Do a Three-Way Call.
During your first call with a prospect, introduce them to another leader to help bring the person closer to making a decision on that first call. A third party validation from another expert may just be the ticket to create enough interest to get them to that next step.

2. Firm it up.
Instead of just leaving it open-ended, set up a firm follow up appointment. If I am sending further information to a prospect, I'll ask them how soon they will be able to review the information I am sending them. If I am sending them to a website, I may be able to get back to them as early as an hour from the initial call. The sooner the better. Don't ever wait longer than you need to in order to make the second call. I get them to tell me when they will be able to look at the information so we can talk intelligently about getting them going. Then, I book an appointment to meet with them. I'll give them two options. For example: If a prospect tells me that he can look at the information tomorrow morning, I will then ask them if morning or afternoon will be better for them to talk. Once I've gotten confirmation from them that either morning or afternoon is better, I will then give two options for appointment times and have them choose one of them. I always make sure the "pencil" me into their calendar.

3. Put the responsibility on them.
During this process, I give them my phone number and have them repeat it back to me. At that point I'll say something like "Joe. I am a very busy person. If for any reason you can't make that appointment, you will give me the professional courtesy of calling me and letting me know you can't make it so I can put someone else in your spot, won't you?" Once I get their agreement, I now have released myself of any emotional burden I might have been feeling if they pulled a no-show and I didn't get that agreement up front. So…when I call my prospect back and they don't answer, I'm done.

4. Be on time.
This is a professional business. You need to show that in everything you do. Don't ever be 15-minutes early or 5-minutes late. Be on time, every time!

5. Don't ever chase.
Even though you may have been excited at the possibility of your prospect joining, chasing never works. Leaving 17 messages over the next two-weeks is not going to get them in the business. Those who are interested show up. Those that aren't, don't show. It is just that simple. If you fill up your pipeline with enough people, you won't ever need to worry about coddling prospects that aren't showing any interest.

6. Don't get emotional.
Regardless of how well you set up the follow-up, you will still get no-shows. It is part of the business, even when you're good! Move forward. Find someone else to talk to about your business. Don't let someone who can't even make a simple appointment ruin your day. It just isn't worth it.

A great majority of your prospecting calls will require a second or third call before they enroll in your business. Do your best. It's all you can do. Get them to agree to look at the information, agree to a time to meet again, and agree to call you if something comes up and they can't make it. If they show up, they're probably interested! If they don't, they aren't.

Ask yourself this question. Were you begged, convinced, chased, or coerced into joining your company? I doubt it. So…why is it that so many people continue to call people back who never respond? I have asked this question on calls and on stage in front of hundreds of people and no one has ever said "yes" to that question. People that are interested show interest by being there when they say they will, or at least calling you back and re-scheduling if they can't make it.

Be professional, do your best, and don't chase. And remember, there's always someone else who IS looking to make a change in the quality of their life.

Keep prospecting!

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/
P.S. I don't live in a box! What are you talking about?

I'm talking about that little square we live in every day. No…not our home, not our room, nor our office. It's where we reside in our minds and how we go about living our lives. The box represents our actions and our thoughts that bring about different results in the things that we do.

You've probably heard the term, "Find out what everybody else is doing and do the exact opposite" if you want to be successful, right? That is certainly the beginning of living outside of the box in one dimension.

To obtain better results, do something different. Do something unusual or unexpected. Stick out. BE somebody. Uniqueness is a wonderful quality.Establish "points" of difference in all that you do. Living outside of the box is much more than simply USP (Unique Selling (propositions). It's how we think, how we act,and how we live that makes the greater difference in not only our lives, but the lives we touch.

Even entrepreneurs reside inside of the box most of the time. Yes…even the successful one's do. It's easy. It's what we know. Then, why in the world am I writing about getting out of the box? Is it just to give you more work, more to think about, more to do? The answer is both yes and no. Certainly, not for the simple sake of making you do more, but for the complexity of making you do more. Confused yet? I thought so.

You see…when your mind is stimulated, it creates. When you're challenged, you rise to the task. Yes….you could easily live inside of the box your entire life and do quite well. Live a comfortable life, as they say. But,is that really living? It might sound like a great way to go. But there's no growth in simplicity.

It's easy to be successful living life inside of the box. However, it's more fun and more fulfilling "outside" of the box…and, quite a bit more financially rewarding if done right. When you realize how good life can be outside of the little box we call home, you will want to venture out much more often.

What does "outside of the box" mean? It actually has multiple meanings. But…I'll make it easy for you to understand.

When you are outside of the box you do things that are more challenging, more interesting, more intriguing, and more thought provoking. You simply do things unlike others. You make efforts to create memorable experiences. Your creations are lasting and people remember them. You are different.

Here are four ways to live life outside of the box:

1.** Smile when least expected.**

First of all, smiling is contagious and releases all sorts of good thing in your body, including endorphins. Endorphins are substances that help to create a sense of pleasure, peace and well being. This may sound trivial or simple to you. But…it's something that can make a big difference. You see…most people don't really smile that often. You remember the song, "Don't Worry, Be Happy"? Look around…most people are worried and unhappy. Think about the difference you can make by simply putting on a smile! You'll feel better, they'll feel better and you'll be making the world a better place. Think about how different it would be to walk through the streets of Manhattan smiling at everyone and getting a smile back. That's a bit of a big task…but, at least you can do your part!

2.** Say it differently.**

How many times have we heard the hum-drum opening, "Hi…my name is…I'm calling you because you were referred to me as….etc." First of all, I bore MYSELF silly if I stick to the same old stuff when prospecting. Imagine what I'd be doing to my prospects if I didn't throw them the "change up" every now and again! I'm not saying that you ALWAYS have to do it differently, but it sure keeps you more on top of your game when you force yourself to say things differently that you normally do. Think about how a prospect would feel if you picked up the phone and said something entirely different than what they may expect. Of course, you're all desperately waiting for me to share with you this brilliant new way of saying things to your prospects, right? Well…I wouldn't be forcing you to think outside of the box if I said it for you now, would I? Be different. Do it differently. Leave varying messages on answering machines when your prospecting. Test out different words. "THINK differently".

3.** Advertise in a new way.**

Running an ad? Be a little crazy. Look at what everyone else is saying and say it differently. Stop using the same old headlines and ad copy. Get CREATIVE. Isn't that what "out of the box" thinking really is all about? It may take some time to get it down right. You may have to test out many different ads before you get it right. but, when you finally hit it right on the nose, you'll be amazed at the massive results you'll get. Try a different publication, location or newspaper to run your ad. ADVERTISE differently.

4. ** Present it uniquely.**

Learn how to tell your story so good, so efficiently, and in such an entirely different and entertaining way that you simply can't help but capture the interest of your audience. Once you have bonded and connected with a prospect that you would like to have in your business, you've got to tell your story. Telling your story is simply conveying information to your qualified prospect that allows them to review your business in detail. However, there are lots of ways of telling the story. There are different mediums like live one-on-one presentations, conference calls, recorded overviews, websites, and so on. And, there are different WAYS in which you can present. Obviously, I'm not talking about 'inventing' some new word or piece of the English language that doesn't yet exist. However, if you simply think a bit differently, you may be able to lay out the details of your story in even a modestly different way that may prove to produce a greater desired result.

I think you're getting my drift here. Do it like everybody else does, and you'll get what everybody else gets. Look like everyone else does, and you'll be like everyone else. Sometimes it takes a little purple hair or a little flair to stick out in the crowd. Be daring with your business. Don't worry about being part of the "in" crowd when you go about your business. Sometimes even successful entrepreneurs get stuck in the repetitive routines of daily life and get a little on the dry side.

Expressing your unique points of difference in everything that you do can do nothing but great things for you. You want to stick out, not blend in when it comes to developing yourself into a successful entrepreneur or leader.

Be willing to step outside of the box and you'll be remembered. Stick in the box at all times and you'll likely blend into the mediocrity and the vanilla of society.

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/
P.S. In fact, it is VERY important.

Double Digits a Day Keep the Commission Checks On Their Way!

What if you had to go through life remembering
ridiculous acronyms like that? We'd all go nuts. Now…it
is important to register in your mind and know that if
you aren't working consistent numbers on a daily basis, you probably aren't doing enough to really propel your business forward.

Let's get back to the ABC's! Really, what I am talking about here is easy…just thought I'd scare you for a second with that lengthy and virtually impossible acronym to remember.

So…what does A.B.C. stand for today?

Attitude
Belief and Faith
Consistent Daily Effort

Now…of course, we could increase the acronym and make it more difficult…ABCDE, but you get the point.

Where am I going with all of this? When you are wondering why it isn't happening fast enough, or why it isn't happening at all, this is something to revert back to.

Producers, successful people have several things in common. And…they definitely have got these three basic elements wired.

Attitude:
Treat every day and every situation with a positive attitude. Do not be easily wavered between states of excitement and states of depression over situations that occur in your business. You have got to have a rock solid, positive attitude to succeed. Be a person that is unshakable. No matter what happens to you or around you, your attitude is so strongly positive and looking toward the future that nothing can stop you from getting what you want. You have GOT to get your mind into this zone. Winners think like winners even when they are losing. 'A' is for ATTITUDE.

Belief:
Believe in what you are doing and you are guaranteed success. Exhibit even the tiniest amount of disbelief and you are guaranteed to lose. Belief is all or nothing. There is no Luke-warm when it comes to belief. Get your mind wrapped firmly around this now. Convicted to the core of your being is the way to be. Can you see any other way to get to the promised land of success? Do you think top-performers in anything go through life doubting they can do it? Belief in you…you CAN do this. Take action today. Do it. Confidence increases with each and every action step you take. Believe in our industry. it has produced hundreds, thousands of millionaires. Believe in your company and your products/services you bring to the marketplace. Wake up every day and re-affirm your BELIEF in what you are doing. It sets you on fire. It is easy to attract quality people when you believe. Remember, 'B' is for BELIEF.

Consistent Daily Effort:
There is simply no easier way to developing a solid commission check than talking to people! Get it? If you don't take time EVERY DAY to propel your business forward, you aren't really in business. Just because you signed an application and buy some product or use some services every month doesn't mean that you are really IN business. Being IN business requires the DISCIPLINE to conduct daily activities that move your business forward. What makes you money? Only one thing in this business: PEOPLE. Therefore, you must talk to new people every day about your business if you expect to succeed. Business doesn't magically appear. Leaders go get the business. Producers make it happen. Consistent daily effort…doing the things that matter most is all that matters. Dusting your desk, cleaning your office, doing your laundry and watching Oprah does not qualify for consistent daily effort. Trust me…none of this produces revenue. What does? Talking to people about your product/service and business EVERY SINGLE DAY! Do not ever let a day pass without talking to someone about your enterprise. This is the recipe for success. 'C' is for CONSISTENT DAILY EFFORT.

The alphabet soup of success, the ABC's of being in business. Of course, there are a lot of other things that we need to attend to in order to be a successful and BALANCED person, but when you are having a difficult time remembering why or what needs to be done to succeed, remember this:

A is for Attitude
B is for Belief
C is for Consistent Daily Effort

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
http://www.cashin2000.com/
P.S. It is the basics that make the difference between a few thousand dollar income and millions.

Three way calls. What are they? Why? And, how to do them right? There is definitely a right way and a wrong way to go about using three-way calling. In order for you to get good at this whole game of prospecting, you have to master this simple tool now.

First off...what is 3-way calling? Two answers...the technical side is this. Three-way calling is a service that you can have added, usually through your local phone company that allows you to be able to connect with an additional party, other than the person you are already on the phone with. It costs just a few dollars a month, and you cannot live without it...period. You absolutely, positively MUST have 3-way calling added to your phone service if you expect to thrive and survive in the network marketing industry. There are no ifs or buts about it. You've got to have it. If you think you can't afford it, forget one latte a week, and you've got it nailed.

Here's the basic gist of how it works. You're on the phone with a person...and you now want to bring in another person on the line. You simply press the "Flash" button on your telephone. In some cases you may not have a flash button, so you simply press the "Talk" or "On" button. When you have 3-way calling on your phone it will give you another dial tone once you have pressed the flash button. You simply dial the number of the other person you wish to reach, then press the "Flash" or "Talk" button again, and you are now on a 3-way call. To disconnect and end the call with the party you have brought into the call, you simply press the "Flash" or "Talk" button again and it disconnects your second caller.

Here is a BIG NO-NO that many novices make that you must remember to never, ever do. Here's the scenario. You're making dials to your prospects with you up-line or sponsor on the telephone; meaning you are on the phone at the same time. You've got your list and you're making calls together. You hit the "Flash" button to go dial one of your prospects and forget to FLASH BACK to your sponsor. You then get their voice mail or answering machine and leave a message, and THEN flash back to your sponsor. You then proceed to have a conversation...where many times you are talking about that very person you have just called and left a message for...only to hear a "beep" that says, "your recording is complete". In fact...most of the time, you probably won't even hear that. What did you just do? You just left a message of you and your sponsor talking on the telephone to your prospect. It is bad news and a bad impression. Do not make that mistake.

Here's a tip for NEVER, ever making that mistake. You're on the phone with your sponsor...you press flash, dial the number of your prospect, IMMEDIATELY press flash once you have completed dialing their number, and say to your sponsor "Back". That means you are back together on the line. You should BOTH be hearing the phone ring. Then...if you get their voice mail, leave a message. When you are done leaving the message, press flash again. This will disconnect your call with the prospect or prospect's answering machine. I even like to double-check that I did disconnect the other call by pressing Flash yet again to make sure I hear a dial tone. If I hear a dial tone, I know I am safe and haven't made that dreaded mistake of talking about my prospect with my sponsor on my prospect's answering machine. I can't tell you how many times someone has called me up with a supposed "Heavy Hitter" on the line...because they know I have a track record of success in this industry, only to hear them talking about me on my answering machine. It's hilarious...and a mistake you definitely DO NOT want to make.

Now that you know the basic technical stuff, and the big NO-NO's, let's talk about the way to effectively use 3-way calling to make you money. The most widely used 3-way call is for 3rd party validation and support from your up-line. So...here's how it goes:.

You're on the phone with your prospect. You have taken them to review some information about your opportunity: a live call, recorded call, website, whatever it is that you do to present your business. The person responds favorably to the initial exposure. You then do the following. Say, "Joe...can you hang on for a second." Of course, they'll say, "Sure". People are used to hearing that. Then...you simply press Flash and dial your sponsor or up-line support person's number. Now...pay close attention. This time it's a little different. Instead of you flashing right back and bringing the parties together...this is your quick opportunity to have a chat on the side with your sponsor to get them up to speed on who you are doing to be introducing to them. Here's what I do:

I dial my sponsor...and, if they answer, I say, "Sam...this is Todd. You got a minute?
I've got a prospect on the line who just listened to our 20-minute live call. He says he's an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. He has a background in sales but has never done MLM. He sounds sharp. Can you do the call?" If he says, "yes". I say, "Great...hang on. I'll introduce you to him." THEN...I press flash and bring the call together. That took a total of about 20 to 30 seconds. The prospect had no idea I was bringing on my up-line. And quite frankly, it doesn't matter. It's not for him or her to decide.

Too many people make the OTHER crucial mistake of asking for permission to do a 3-way call. Nix that idea out of your head. You don't need to ask. You are in control. Don't ever ask for permission to do a 3-way. Now, when I bring back my sponsor on the line, here's what happens. I say to my prospect, "Joe...you back with me? Great! Listen. I was able to grab a business partner of mine who is incredibly successful in the network marketing industry. This is a gentleman you will be working with as well. He is a top earner and trainer with our company and one of the most-respected people in the entire industry. Sam...this is Joe. Joe this is Sam."

Then...I shut up. I don't say a peep. The third crucial mistake people make in 3-way calling is interrupting their up-line by saying things like, "Sam, don't forget to tell him about this or that." You have just blown the entire up-line edification process. You introduced your prospect to an up-line who you built up as an expert. The expert KNOWS what to say and do. You do not need to interrupt or interject. You'll know when it is appropriate to talk. This isn't totally black and white...but for a great majority of people, don't say anything. Regarding the term up-line edification...here's what I did. I introduced my sponsor or up-line as an expert. I gave some stats. I made him sound like the successful person that he is. I didn't lie. I created automatic authority and respect in the mind of my prospect for my up-line. Clue in on this one folks. It's important. Build them up. If I just said, "Hey Joe...this is Sam, a guy with our company." What does that do? Nothing. Use the edification part to your advantage. But, don't build your person up to something that they're not. And...please definitely, DO NOT lie.

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
P.S. Now, there can obviously be a number of reasons why this is the case, but let's look at one simple element: the mind.

You see…prospecting is really something that CAN come naturally, and it should. Most people make it out to be far more difficult than it really is. After all, it's just a conversation, a connection with another person, isn't it? Inevitably, many people falter and lack production in their prospecting efforts because they get in their own way. Their head, their mind plays games (tricks) on them that cause low production…or worse, no production.

If you are going to make any real money in network marketing, you have to get the prospecting game down…not let the prospecting game get YOU down. Over the past 14 years of my personal network marketing experience, I have seen hundreds of people fall victim to the dreaded disease: MindMessalitis.

Natural Prospecting
Natural Prospecting is a zone that can be achieved by everyone in this business if they simply step aside and get out of their own way. Too often, people over-think or worry about what they are going to say, rather than simply flowing in the conversation. They need to simply let what happens, happen. I am not saying that you get lazy about your words or your approach at all. I simply mean that you need to be natural…or "in the moment". Wherever you are, be there.

Booking a Flight
Most of us have booked a flight over the telephone at some point in our lives. Did you use a script? Of course not! You knew exactly what you wanted. You knew your objective. What time are the flights? How many stops? Is there food on the plane? A movie? It was a simple, stress-free call where you didn't get in your own way. Your mind didn't play tricks on you. You knew EXACTLY what you wanted.

You don't have to know the answer all the time. Why? There's not always one answer, one solution or one direction to go on a call. You have choices. Exercise them. When a network marketer gets jammed up in a conversation, where their words are jumbled and they fumble around feeling like a 3-year old, it's because they are THINKING too much. What should I say? What do I do? Where do I go from here? What did they mean when the prospect said this, that or the other? Confusion takes place and another opportunity is lost. It's important to understand that in a free-flowing conversation, it is exactly that…flowing. It can flow in any direction, without force and without stress.

One Chance for an Impression
You really only have one opportunity to make a great impression on a prospect. People want to work with confident leaders that are in control….or, at least the right people do! Next time you pick up the telephone to call a prospect, take a deep breath and relax. There's nothing to stress out about. No worries. It's just a conversation with another living, breathing human being that probably has some level of dissatisfaction in their life or a desire for change. All you need to do is uncover it and provide them a solution. It sounds easy, doesn't it? Don't blow your impressions by letting paranoia and fear prevent you from letting it go. Let it happen. You'll be sure to make a better impression when you are working with relaxed intensity rather than stressed intensity.

What's your objective?
When you clearly understand the purpose of a prospecting call, it becomes very easy. If you go into a call confused and not clearly understanding of your purpose, your mind tends to over-think and cause you to flail. When I make calls…I clearly know my objective. It's just like buying an airline ticket. I know EXACTLY what I want. I pick up the telephone and engage the person in conversation by asking a question. I am looking for someone open to an opportunity for change. I then probe and look for desires, dissatisfaction's and strong character traits. If they foot the bill, I present my opportunity, answer any legitimate questions and collect a decision. Voila! The call is done. It's really that simple.

Get clear on what you want to accomplish in your prospecting calls. Don't worry about getting stuck not knowing what to say if and when they say something. You're already in a losing proposition when you do that. If a question or objection comes up that you are not prepared for, take a breath, pause, then go with the flow. Don't try to answer something that you don't know. Don't fear. Everyday something unexpected occurs and we deal with it. Prospecting isn't any different. Let it come naturally and without force. Think about FLOW and let it go.

Make it a Peaceful Day
Abundance, success and fulfillment come through a relaxed, yet intense approach toward building your business. The term 'relaxed intensity' perfectly defines one who goes all out in their business, giving it everything they've got, yet doing so with a peaceful mind. Success comes to those who work toward it, but don't stress about it. Let your mind work on other creative projects rather than what might happen in a conversation. Do this, and you will find yourself attracting and sponsoring more people than you ever dreamed possible!

Success=Action
Ron Outlaw
P.S. Check. I've got my script. Check.

I've gone to the conference calls. Check. I've got my

tools. Check. My desk is sparkling clean. Check.

Oops! I forgot to prospect! Darn it! I knew I forgot

something important!

Believe it or not, people can and oftentimes do get caught

up in everything but the most important action that leads

them to success in this business: talking to others about

the product and financial opportunity.

Why? What stops people from taking action? There are

several things that prevent people from moving forward and

conducting those ever-important activities that lead to

revenue…including fear, lack of clarity, self-doubt,

confusion, and a small host of other distractions or

reasons for failing to take real action.

Let's face it. There are lots of angles that need to be

covered to truly be a master in this business. You've got

to be organized and know when the calls and meetings are,

at what times and what locations, what sales aids to use,

what scripts or systems to follow, what leads to buy or

ads to run, a seemingly endless line of responsibilities

that you must tend to in order to make it. Most

importantly…you've got to prospect.

Exposure is the seed that leads to business. It is what

creates momentum. That first call you make begins the

process. The next call keeps it moving. The call after

that propels it even further forward. Prospecting for

your product and business is what leads to revenue…period.

How is your business? Is it growing or diminishing? Is

it strong and exciting or drab and boring? Is your check

increasing or decreasing? How many people have you talked

to this week? How is your growth and development as an

effective communicator going?

The state of your business is a direct reflection of your

personal actions and activities. Action and motion lead

to results. What have you been moving on lately? Have

you been planting the seed? You are in the business of

promoting a product and opportunity. You've got to be in

motion for your business to grow.

Sometimes you have to examine yourself and ensure you are

on track. Looking in the mirror and what do you see? You

see a mirror image of yourself.

I've found a few simple methods that have proven effective

in determining whether or not I am on track. One method

helps me determine if I am simply speaking with enough

people and presenting my business often enough to yield

the results I am seeking. The other method helps me

determine the quality of my presentations.

The Quantitative Method
We've all heard that this is a numbers game and a people

business. Sorting not selling, right? Yes and no. We'll

get into the selling part in a moment. It is a

combination of a numbers game coupled with effective

prospecting and communicating that leads to better

production.

Here's a simple and quick self-checking device. Get out a

piece of paper and a pen. Draw a one-inch by one-inch box.

In that box, write down the number of NEW people you have

talked to about your business in the past 24 hours. Do

not include follow-ups, three-ways, or conversations with

existing team members. How many brand new people have you

spoken to in the past 24-hours? My rule: Double digits a

day keep the commission checks on their way.

A more detailed way of tracking that can be even more

enlightening is to create a simple log or spreadsheet.

Set it up with the following columns:
# of dials
# of messages left
# of live conversations
# of presentations
# of decisions collected, and
# of new reps.
Now…all you do is simply keep a weekly tally of how many

dials you are making, messages you are leaving, and so on.

This will give you a good idea of how well you are doing

in the prospecting arena in terms of your overall numbers.

It also becomes enlightening as you continue to do this

as it becomes easier to predict how many dials you may

need to make in order to sponsor a new rep.

The Qualitative Method
You can't really listen to yourself while you are talking.

If you do, you aren't really paying attention to the

conversation at hand. Start recording your dials.

Then…play them back and listen. This is a great

self-checking method that will help you improve the

quality of your calls. You'll find yourself picking up on

things that go in your conversations that either produce

better results or cause your prospect to tune out and lose

interest. Make this a weekly habit.

You won't know how you really sound until you listen. We

all spend time emulating other successful people in hopes

of seeing the successes that they have achieved. Spend

some time analyzing and listening to your own dials so you

can begin to improve the quality of your dials.

Until you become an expert in prospecting, you won't be

able to pick up on everything. But…if you never listen,

you'll never pick up on anything.

Conducting regular self-checks will lead you to greater

production and shorten the learning curve of going from a

novice to a professional prospector in this business.

Both of these methods will serve to keep your business on

track. They are both easy to do and require very little

additional effort, yet the rewards for doing so can be

overwhelmingly positive.

Remember…always be looking in the mirror and examining how

and where your business is going.

Success=Action

Ron Outlaw
P.S. In order to achieve that objective you need to reach as many targeted prospects as possible with your message. The Internet provides a tool for potentially, inexpensively reaching thousands. Yet, your message must get through to your prospects - one… at …. a ….. time. - It’s individuals who read your message, individuals who think about it and who react to it. They react to your message once they connect with you and feel an appropriate emotion based upon the content of your messages. So the real key to your on-line success is connecting with your prospects one-at-a-time or one-to-one.

How do you connect with your prospects one at a time? You do it by envisioning individual readers of your communications (newsletters, articles, e-mails and WebPages) sitting across from you as you write. You write as if you’re talking to them and even try to envision their individual faces. I personally do this very literally because I make note of specific faces as I surf the Internet. I actually study the photos posted on the various websites. Do that too and you will find yourself actually talking to individuals as you write. That feeling will be conveyed in your e-zine (e-mail magazines) articles, e-mails, and web copy. People “feel” this when reading your writing and so they respond to your message to them.

Realizing the importance of knowing who you’re dealing with is a great reason to post your photo on your website. You want your visitors to get to “know” and connect with you. Maybe you should start doing this if you don’t already. Unless you look like you’re “criminally insane,” how you look is not really very important. Most of us are uncomfortable and unhappy with some aspect of our appearances. Just smile and make sure that the photo conveys a professional image.

Realizing the importance of knowing who you’re deal with is part of the reason I frequent online discussion forums and join e-mail discussion lists. You get a feel for what a person is really like after reading a few of their posts. They also get a feel for who you are over time.

Another tool, which has proven helpful in connecting with people online, is listening to the audio clips available on many websites. By hearing the actual voices of your audience members, this helps them to “become” real people instead of just names on a list. It’s also fun discovering what individuals sound like. Since we are from many different countries and regions within different countries, people rarely sound like what you imagined. That’s beside the point, but hearing the voice helps you to know the other person. Talking to people on the telephone, naturally, has the same effect.

If you don’t already, consider using a few sound clips on your website. It’s extremely easy to add short recorded messages to your website. If you don’t want to learn how to do this, get your webmaster to step you through the process. Sound gives a website an entirely different feel.

Through connecting with people one-on-one we build trust and respect. You don’t think of your contacts as just potential buyers or down-line members. You begin to see them as individuals sitting in from of their computer screens reading and responding to something you wrote. You eventually feel the two-way flow of communications and that lets you know that your audience IS being reached.

Examples of the two-way communication flow is when your e-zine readers e-mail you after reading one of your insightful articles, or someone e-mails you with a personal thank you after you responded to their question on a discussion board. In the sales arena, it’s when a potential customer e-mails you with a question about a product you recommended and then orders after getting your very frank response. It’s when someone working on an e-book or piece of software e-mails you asking you to review it before it’s released because they value your opinion.

If you look at your own buying behavior you’ll realize that you buy from people that you connect with. You feel good when you buy a generic product (that you could have purchased from hundreds of different individuals) from someone you’ve gotten to know. Others make their buying decisions the same way! People buy from people that they know, like, and trust. People team up with people that they know, like and trust.

Make it one of your goals beginning today to cultivate those one-on-one relationships. To beginners, it will seem like you might spend a LOT of time just to reach a FEW individuals when you really prefer to reach as many people as possible. There is a natural tendency not to want to slow down and deal with individuals. It’s critical to your business and personal success that you realize it’s individuals that make business decisions. Individuals sitting at their keyboards, or reading something you’ve written (which they printed out to read during a spare moment), should be the focus of your efforts. Master this skill and you’ll be totally amazed at the effectiveness of all your business efforts. You’ll begin to see the essentialness of connecting one-to-one, even when sifting through the thousands of contacts on the Internet trying to locate the few gems that you’ll eventually have business dealings with.

Get Your FREE Software….

DesktopLightning - Strengths and Weaknesses

From: Ronald Outlaw
Subject: DesktopLightning - Strengths and Weaknesses

Hello,

If you've been following what's been going on in the Internet Marketing scene then I'm sure you've at least heard about "DesktopLightning" by now.

A lot of people are saying really good things about the site, but are they true?

I decided to write up an honest review of the site, covering what I believe to be its strengths and its weaknesses, just to clear it up once and for all...

==========================================================
DesktopLightning - Strengths and Weaknesses
==========================================================

Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5 stars (* * * * 1/2)

In A Nutshell
-------------

A catchy new viral marketing tool, capable of broadcasting messages directly to people's desktops. Easy to use, and caters primarily to those who have something they want to promote and are looking for a better way to do it.

(Read on for why I didn't give it 5 stars)

1. Initial Impressions
----------------------

When I was first introduced to DesktopLightning.com, I wasn't quite sure exactly what to think. Everyone was saying it was going to be more powerful than e-mail marketing, but this seemed like too bold of a claim.

I signed up anyway, since I usually give things a chance
that's how I have found the several sites I do really trust and rely on.

The signup process did take about 60 seconds, as advertised, and their software program downloaded and installed in about 30 seconds. No long, tedious install processes here.If you own downloadable software, you might want to take a look at how quick their install process is.

Right after installing the software, it ran immediately, and I was quickly presented with a tool to invite my friends.

Within one-click's access was my Inbox, the tool to send
broadcasts, a statistics page, and my favorite, the "Build Your Network" page.

I'll get more into why that's my favorite page later.

2. Viral Growth
---------------

This is where the site really shines, in my opinion. The purpose of a viral marketing site is that you should be able to invite just a few people, and then it will start growing on its own.

Many sites claim to work like this, but few actually work as advertised.

I'm not sure if it's because of their unique concept or the slick implementation, but this site is REALLY viral. Here's some of the testimonials they got, which I think sum it up pretty well:

"I haven't ever seen a system build a downline so
fast. I joined your program just to try something
new. Four days later I had a downline of 43 people.
This is unbelievable."

~ Harry Joseph

"I invited just a handful of people only a few days
ago and I already have 48 members on 5 levels below
me. I am going to keep promoting this, but I see it
has a life of it's own now. I couldn't stop my
network from expanding if I wanted to!"

~ David Parton

"This website is so viral - I received over 100
sign-ups and my network is already 5 levels deep in
less than 48 hours."

~ Rene Keiser

Although they obviously can't guarantee results for anyone, the general consesus is that most people who do get those initial few people in are experiencing results similar to these.

I give DesktopLightning an A+ for spreading like wildfire.

3. Direct-To-Desktop Broadcasts
-------------------------------

So, once you have the people in your network from the direct invitations and the viral growth, then it really gets cool.
Now is when you get to broadcast whatever message you want directly to their desktops.

Gone are the days of sending out emails and wondering if
they were received due to spam filters and crowded inboxes.

If you upgrade to their Platinum membership, then you can even get exact statistics on the percentage of your broadcasts that were opened, but the Platinum membership is not the subject of this review.

Here's how it works -- the DesktopLightning.com software is what allows the direct-to-desktop communication to be
received. Since everyone in your network will have the
DesktopLightning application installed, just as you do,
this is what allows such smooth and instant communication to occur.

Within one hour of your sending the message, everyone in your network who is online will receive a notification on their desktop that they can click to read your message.

Anyone who isn't online at the time will receive it when they log on next.

I'm sure you can see why this type of communication has been more successful than email as of late, so I won't get into it too much here. The basic point though is that there's no way your message can be lost, overlooked, or blocked by any filters.

If you upgrade to their Platinum service you can do things like embed video and sound right into the broadcast, but again, I'll save the Platinum service for another review.

4. Building Your Network
------------------------

Most sites out there nowadays don't really help you build a network of people below you. They just throw you a URL and tell you to run with it.

While this works for most advanced people, it's not something that's very easy for people who are just starting out.

DesktopLightning went really far this time to make sure
that everyone has a way to bring people into their network, regardless of skill level.

When you click on the "Build Your Network" link from within their application, you'll be presented with a surprising number of tools to help you build your downline.

Everything from banners, to popups, to text ads, to invitation tools, to emails to send out, etc.

Then, they continue to offer something which I haven't seen on any Internet Marketing site yet -- they have a "Starting From Scratch" section, designed specifically for people who have no list and no website with traffic.

If you're in that position, then you'll love this section, since they detail specific strategies you can use to promote DesktopLightning (or anything for that matter), even if you don't have anything to start with.

Quite a valuable resource.

5. Not For Everyone
-------------------

With all that said, the only downside to DesktopLightning is that it's not for everyone.

Of course, some might see that as an upside, since it's a more targeted opportunity.

Basically, the bottom line is that DesktopLightning.com is a promotional tool. You need to have something you want to promote or advertise before you can really make use of the site.

This is all due to the fact that the basic concept is that you build a viral network of people, and then broadcast something to it.

But, this "something" is whatever you want, so you must
already have something you'd want to send to a lot of people.

If you don't have something yet, you could start building your network first, and then once you get something to promote you'll be ready to launch it immediately.

If you do have something to promote, that's when the site really shines.

6. Conclusion
-------------

I would recommend this site to anyone who has something to promote or advertise.

It definitely works, and your downline will grow extremely fast if you put some energy into getting it started.

The direct-to-desktop broadcasts are a killer app in today's online climate, where emails barely even get through anymore.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it has
nothing to offer for people who don't have anything to
promote or advertise yet.

If you want to advertise or promote something to a lot of people in a unique and poweful way, then this site is for you.

==========================================================

At any rate, my general opinion is that since it's so quick to set up and try, if you have something you want to promote you might as well go check it out.

You can always remove it later if you decide you don't like it.

Here's the link where you can sign up:
The Software is " FREE"

Enjoy! :)

Ronald Outlaw

MLM BBQ Nightmare!

Hey There, Ronald Outlaw from Union, New Jerseyagain! Thanks for visiting my blog! Today I want to share with you a compelling story from Kimball Roundy, founder and inventor of The SpiderWeb Marketing System. It pretty much describes a lot of his struggles, and how he overcame them and established this awesome system. Personally, I can totally identify with the things he went through, which is part of the reason I feel so confident with his system. Here it goes, in his words.
The Depressed but Blessed Monday
I will never forget the day I first stumbled across the concepts that started me down the path of research and development of the Spider Web Marketing System. It was early on a long depressing Monday morning that my life was changed forever. This Monday was depressing not only because I found myself back at my dead-end job yet again, but far worse because I had spent the previous three weeks preparing for the recruiting-event-to-end-all-recruiting-events. It was to be the most successful "meeting" that anyone had ever seen.
The Master Plan
I was certain that after this huge "opportunity" BBQ, everyone in my company was going to be coming to me to figure out what I had done to recruit so many people. I had my small downline buzzing with excitement about how we were all going to be able to kick back and watch the cash roll in after this event. Previous small casual BBQ's at my home had been somewhat effective and encouraging, so I was sure that this large gathering was going to be just that much more effective.
I spent well over $1,000 getting ready for the BBQ. I purchased enough hamburgers and hot dogs to feed a small army, as well as volleyball equipment, horseshoes, and badminton sets. I rented the largest park in town, a grill the size of my truck and everything else I could think of to make this an enjoyable and successful "meeting".

Then, with a bit of help from some of my top guys, I passed out between ten and fifteen thousand flyers. We talked to everyone we knew and everyone we met as we were preparing for the event. I literally only slept an hour or two each night for the entire week leading up to the BBQ.
Finally, the day arrived. There was a buzz of excitement running through my whole organization. Unfortunately, it would soon be smothered, along with the hearts of everyone who had worked so hard to help put this event together. So, out of the 20,000 people who had heard about the BBQ or got a flyer, the grand total that showed up was...76. Not quite the 5,000 I was hoping for or even the 500 I was willing to settle for--76.
To add salt to an already painful wound, out of those 76 I was able to pitch my opportunity to, there was a total signup of -24.
"How is that possible?" you ask.
Well, I had worked and overworked my entire team and placed way too much emphasis on how well things were going to work out and how easy it was going to be once we were done recruiting the mas
